Job Description:Project Managers Location: Northern, Virginia or Anywhere within the US. Travel may be required. V Consulting Group, LLC, a Strategic Management and Technology Consulting firm is currently looking for Project Managers to assist on various projects throughout the US.Details are listed below: Project Manager (Consultant) Project Managers will lead projects from conception to completion for various clients. Interaction with Senior-Level management, Business Departments and Technical Staff is required on a daily basis. Minimum Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems or a related field. Experience Five or more years of Project Management experience with experience managing multiple projects. Strong understanding of Project Management Institute PMBOK or RUP Methodologies. Experience managing and preparing budgets, Gap Analysis, creating work-breakdown structure, preparing Statement of Work, Issue and Risk reporting, EV (Earned-Value). Experience managing projects from conception to completion. Experience using PM Tools (MS Project, MS Project Server, Sharepoint, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio) Understanding of Technical environments (Applications, Infrastructure) and data flows. Previous Managerial experience is a plus. Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills Preferred Qualifications Management of Projects over $1MM PMP Certification
